Helene V. O'Flaherty, 44, of Rockaway, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her home. She was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Annmarie O'Flaherty and Denis Wayne (Michael) O'Flaherty.

She loved crazy times with her children. She enjoyed coloring books, her Ticktok community. She had a love of crystals and butterflies and always up for a good debate. Helene was passionate on her views and in her beliefs. Helene was a mother to many. She adopted so many people into her life and allowed these people to learn from her and allow them to teach her what life could truly be like and how kind people can truly be. She had a laugh that made you smile and she light up the room with her goofy attitude and smile and she had so many stories that made everyone either learn a valuable lesson or make you laugh she always knew how to have a good time.

She is survived by her four children; Laquan Winston, Kiara O'Flaherty, Kaila O'Flaherty and Alyvia O'Flaherty, all of Rockaway; 3 older sisters and an Irish twin Kathleen Marantino of Lackawaxen, PA. Closest friends Megan Adams of Tannersville, PA, Christina Sherwood of Vernon, NJ and Stephanie Fox of Rockaway , NJ. Several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at a later date. Interment is private.
