Henning Joachim Grundmann
Was born October 18th 1941 outside Berlin Germany and moved to Lancaster Pennsylvania in 1952. Henning graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and attended Pitt University. Henning proudly served in the U.S. Army after being drafted and in the seven years was able to obtain the rank of Captain. Henning continued to serve his community by becoming a New Hampshire State trooper before moving to Texas in 1974 and finally settling in San Antonio. Henning is survived by his wife Emily J. Grundmann, Daughter Gretchen, Son Eric, Daughter-in-law Zulema and Two grandchildren Jayden and Mia.
Henning passed comfortably on May 21st 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones as he wished. Henning was a great man, awesome father, wonderful husband and well respected individual throughout the community.
