Niskayuna - Henrietta A. Conney, 86, of Niskayuna passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Henrietta was born in Amsterdam and was the daughter of the late John and Naomi Liddle. She attended SUNY Buffalo and Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned a Master of Fine Arts. Henrietta taught Art and Photography in Rochester, Buffalo, South Colonie and Niskayuna school districts. She finished her career at Niskayuna High School. She enjoyed traveling, painting, animals, dancing, museums, and photography. Her art work was exhibited in several galleries across the state, following her teaching career.
She is survived by her nephews Jack (Maureen) Adriance, Chuck Adriance, Morgan, Julian and Tom Adriance (Kate) and family. Henrietta is the sister of the late Agnes, Martha, John and Marcellus. Several nieces and nephews and many dear friends also survive.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Glen Eddy in Niskayuna for their care and kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Henrietta’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie with a prayer service to commence at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Chuctanunda Cemetery, Minaville, NY
