Henrietta Isoline Ferguson, age 97, of Miramar, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Henrietta was born on March 16, 1928, in Jamaica, West Indies to her beloved mother, Ethlin Nelson. She was raised in Christiana, where she attended school and built the foundation of a life rooted in faith, family, and care. She later married Theophilus Ferguson and lovingly dedicated her life to raising her family as a devoted wife and homemaker. Henrietta is preceded in death by her loved ones: Marion Ferguson, Carmen Shaw, Olive Graham, and Michael Graham.
She is survived by her children: Lena Ferguson-White, Beverly Ferguson, Lorna Ferguson-Myles and her husband, Donald Myles, Lebert Ferguson, Phillip Ferguson, Niel Ferguson, Warren Ferguson, Paul Ferguson. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and strength. She is also survived by her good friend Mary Mundle, Pastor Dorothy Campbell and her church family.
Henrietta's life was richly blessed by her faith and the community she held dear. Special thanks to Pastor Campbell, Elder Campbell, and Triumphant Church of Jesus Christ for their unwavering support and heartfelt prayers.
The family of Henrietta Ferguson wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to Sis. Thompson, the dedicated nurses, hospice organizations, and all the special individuals who offered care, comfort, and kindness during her final days.
Memorials may be given in Henrietta's honor to the family or to the Triumphant Church of Jesus Christ.
Henrietta's life was a testament to quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. She will be missed deeply and remembered always.
