Henrietta Kuester (Lawnicki) ObituaryFlorence- Henrietta Kuester, 72, of Florence, Wisc., passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wisc.
She was born May 10, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisc., daughter of the late Gilbert and Genevieve (Adamczyk) Lawnicki. Henrietta grew up and graduated high school in Milwaukee. Following graduation she enlisted in the United States Army on October 2, 1972, rising to the rank of Sergeant. She was honorably discharged on April 24, 1974.
Henrietta worked mostly as a prep cook and later in life became a CNA. She moved to Florence in 2020 and shortly after became ill and ended up in Florence Health Services.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Hopper, Robert (Mary Jo Audiss) Hopper, and Scott (Elizabeth) Hopper; grandchildren, Bailey James David Schomer, Brady Hopper, Isaiah Hopper, Kyla Androli, Grayson Hopper, Blake Hopper, Emma Hopper, Benjamin Hopper, and Wesley Hopper; sisters, Pauline Mitchell, Gail Lawnicki, Helen Bautch, JoAnn Kamke and Nancy Setterlund; and by a brother, David Lawnicki.
In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by two brothers, Doug and Daniel Lawnicki.
In accordance with Henrietta's wishes, private family services will be held.
