Henry was born on April 2, 1940 to Arthur and Nellie (Dickinson) Bruns. Once Henry could reach the pedals of the tractor, he was working in the field, helping his mother with chicken, pigs, picking corn, feeding animals, milking cows, helping his dad anywhere he could, and helping his siblings causing trouble too! He attended school and after graduating he continued working in Lodgepole for a few people. He worked in Chappell at the sale barn and various other jobs. At the ripe age of 48, he became a father to his daughter Sarah who was his world. He soon after started working in Sidney at Prestolite and continued to farm/ranch with his bothers.

Henry enjoyed his cows, riding horses, farming, helping neighbors work their cows, fishing, and spending as much time as he could with his daughter. Later in life after he retired, he slowed down a little, but his cows were his life and he really enjoyed his bonus grandkids. Henry would give anyone the shirt off his back or helping anyone!

He is survived by his daughter Sarah (Jeremiah) Bruns, 2 nieces, 5 nephews, many cousins and two very special bonus grandkids!

Henry is processed in death by his parents Arthur and Nellie, grandparents, two brothers and a sister.
