I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC (Covington Lake community) in 2013 from Florida. About a year later, I met Henry thru some neighbors. He was a friendly, helpful man that I enjoyed talking to. On several occasions, Henry had helped me with small repairs to my house. He was always willing to lend a hand. When I traveled to Cuba in 2018, I brought Cuban cigars back for him since he always had one nearby. He spoke of his family with genuine love and pride. When I heard of his passing, it was a shock. He will be missed by myself and all who knew him in the neighborhood.

My heart goes out to Henry's children and grandchildren as well as to his ex-wife, Meri. My brother, sisters, and I are heartbroken, as well. I will forever cherish memories of Henry as my big, strong brother, who was always there for me when I needed him.
