Mr. Henry Falcon

Henry A. Falcon, 71, died Mar 22, 2020 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Henry was born in 1948 Manhattan, NY. He served his country in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer for four years during the Vietnam War and later attended University of Puerto Rico. In 1973 he was married to Emerita Falcon in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They have three children. Henry was a member of the Local 103 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union and retired from United Power Group where he worked for many years as a Senior Electrical Test Technician. He was an accomplished archer reaching second place in US Nationals competitions. He worked with youth groups teaching and sharing his passion for the sport with kids. Henry was an avid reader and history buff, who loved a good debate and winning at Jeopardy from his couch. He accomplished everything he set his mind on. From a young age, he was mechanically and technologically inclined, always taking things apart and fixing them. Henry loved to travel and meet new people. He reached 4 of the 7 continents with Germany, Costa Rica and Croatia as some of his favorite countries. His travels married well with his love of food and cooking. Henry was an active member of his community, always willing to help a neighbor, family and friends in need. He was a beloved grandfather, who will be remembered for his great big laugh, intelligence, generosity, kindness and love of good cigar. He is survived by his wife Emerita; his daughter and 2 sons; Coralie, Rafael, Enrique and their spouses, and 4 grandchildren; Emily, Grace, Dante and Damian. He also leaves sisters Carmen, Helen, Lorraine and Janet, and brother Hector. As well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Mildred. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be scheduled.
