Henry Lee Giles, 79, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
He was born on September 7, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Horace and Helen Giles. He was one of six children born to their union.
Henry proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was a dedicated employee for many years at B.F. Goodrich Chemical Company, later known as Zeon Chemical. Henry was a true foodie who enjoyed good meals and even better company. He will be remembered for his humor, his loving spirit, and the way he treated his friends like family.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory his loving family: daughter, Renee A. Appling; son, Henry D. (Nam Phuong) Bailey; grandchildren, Antoinette Giles, Artis Appling, Adonis Appling, Alexis Appling, Aliyah Bailey, Micah Martin, and Jaylah Bailey; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
