Henry Godwin Obituary
Al lived life with an easy smile, a warm heart, and a sense of fun that made every moment brighter. Whether he was dancing the night away at the Moose Lodge, heading out for a peaceful day of fishing, or tinkering with one of his many projects-finished or not he embraced life with curiosity and good humor. He proudly cared for his giant "monster plant," and he never missed a chance to travel, explore, and enjoy the world around him.
Most of all, Al loved his family deeply. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shelia; his daughters, Cindy Logue (Chris) and Amanda Snow; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren-by blood or by love-who meant everything to him. He also leaves behind his beloved pups, Molly G and Mickey G, faithful companions who brought him great joy.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Lance Godwin; the mother of his children, Joyce; and his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Moose Lodge of Tallahassee, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor Al's memory in the fun-loving spirit he carried throughout his life.
Al will be deeply missed, but his laughter, kindness, and unforgettable presence will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
