Henry Langert Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home - Bethlehem on Mar. 3, 2026.
Henry Andrew Langert Jr., 64, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. Born on January 28, 1962, in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Henry Andrew Langert Sr. and the late Edna Dorothy Keane.

Henry was a cherished husband to his beloved wife, Monica Sutton Langert (Gould), and proud father to his daughter, Desiré Langert. He was a loving grandfather to Dominick Andrew Langert and Lilliana Lynn Langert, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his sisters, Colleen Romanofsky and Jason Teneyck, and was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Langert.

A skilled professional, Henry dedicated much of his career to the International Union of Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment mechanic, where his expertise and work ethic were greatly respected. Beyond his professional life, Henry found deep fulfillment in simpler, heartfelt pursuits. He had a profound love for antique cars and spent countless hours carefully restoring and working on them, finding both pride and tranquility in the process.

An animal lover at heart, Henry adored his faithful dog and took quiet pleasure in feeding the birds that visited his yard, creating peaceful moments of connection with nature.

He enjoyed unwinding with his favorite cop shows, as well as timeless classics like The Wizard of Oz and the humor of The Three Stooges, which never failed to bring a smile to his face.

Henry will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and the genuine warmth he shared with those closest to him. His presence enriched the lives of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.

Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Henry's arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
