the parentage of Bulah Mae Armstead and Norman Lee Martin on
July 15, 1949, in Jefferson, Texas.
Henry Lee Martin attended school in Jefferson, ISD and Dallas, ISD.
He also graduated from college with a nursing degree.
Henry Lee Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Martin;
mother, Bulah Mae Armstead; father, Norman Lee Martin; sisters,
Elnora Martin, Rosemary Denise Shaw, and Norma Jean Williams;
and brothers, Melvin Ray Martin (Dianne), Harold Shaw, Jr., and Gary
Wayne Williams.
Henry Lee Martin leaves to mourn: his daughters, Sherry Mitchell
and Hilema Edwards; son, Hakim Edwards; brothers, David Earl
Shaw, David Ray Shaw (Terri), Joe Preston Shaw (Tonia), and Michael
Williams; sister-in-law, Anne Magee; several grandkids; greatgrandkids; nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and
friends who loved him dearly.
