Dora Lee Martin

Dora Lee Clement Martin died peacefully on December 23, 2021, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel P. Martin. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Danny) Paul Martin, Jr., her daughter-in-law Karen Hanzo Martin, her grandson Gavin Christopher Martin, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest J. Clement and Hattie C. Clement, sisters Hazel C. Stevens, Mae C. Bourgeois, and Grace C. Picou, and brothers Scuddy J. Clements and Raymond J. Clement. Mrs Martin was born in Chackbay, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA for 65 years. She worked for many years as the office manager at Haywilk Galvanizing in Harvey. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Marrero, LA. The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff of The Azaleas at Woldenberg Village Assisted Living for their loving care and support the past four and a half years. Expressions of gratitude are also sent to the staff of Passages Hospice.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In place of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
