Henry William Marksch III, 68, of Napoleon, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. He was born on June 5, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Henry and Francis (Greer) Marksch II. On June 14, 2008, he married Susan Ranee Dachenhaus, and she preceded him in death on May 1, 2009.

He was a simple man who thoroughly enjoyed riding his motorcycle whenever he could. Henry would often be seen involved with his passion for fireworks, whether that was helping to set them off for a show, or purchasing them at a store. During most of his lifetime, he was a forklift driver for Sauder Woodworking as well as IAC of Wauseon.

Henry is survived by his daughter, Melody (Brad) Kosnik; son, Henry Marksch IV; siblings, Deb Cover, Diana (Dan) Hill, Connie (Dan) McCandless, Kelly Marksch, Robert Pierce Jr, Jackie (Jess) Taylor, and Marguerite Weber; nieces and nephews, Roxanne Glynn, Randy Dachenhaus Jr, Rhonda (Sam) Weible, Chris Dachenhaus, Danny Hill, Brandon Hill, and Kaycee Cover; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and 7 great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his son, Dustin Marksch; and grandmother, Hazel March.

Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed towards St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may also be left for the family at www.rodenbergergray.com
