Ronald N. Wilkerson

Ronald N. Wilkerson, 81, of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice.

Ron was born October 20, 1944 in Los Angeles, California to the late Charles and Betty (Creech) Wilkerson. After completing Highschool, Ron served in the Unted States Marine Corp. from 1962-1968 and attained the rank of Sargeant.

On July 20, 1969, Ron married Kathy Lange at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Okolona, Ohio.

Ron worked as a Millwright for GM Powertrain, Defiance for 30 years, retiring in 1998. After retirement he worked part-time at St. Mike's Golf Course, Defiance, where he spent as much time playing golf as he did working.

Ron was a member of Florida United Methodist Church and Life member of the Defiance AMVETS and the American Legion. He also enjoyed woodworking, remodeling projects and attending his grandchildren's activities and events.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Shelley (Harry) Graves, Mark (Lori) Wilkerson, and Brad (Julie) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Everett (Mackenzie) Wilkerson, Kacey and Payton Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, James and Robert; and sisters, Maryann Sillyman and Janie Turnage. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wilkerson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 24th, 2025 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Okolona, Ohio. Interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, Ohio and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Florida Methodist Church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Okolona, or Defiance CHP Inpatient Hospice.
