I have been going to Henry's for over 50 years. Later, me and a couple of my friends convinced them to sponsor our softball team. We were able to bring 2 championships over the in several years we played. Our team photo was always there in the vestibule and remained there till the closing.Vinnie , Henry and their staff were always so kind and generous to us. After our playing years I frequently brought my family to the family pasta nights. The food was always on point. Before we left after our meal, I almost always talked sports (especially the Yankees) with Vinnie and Henry and enjoyed many laughs and left with many fond memories. Last saw him around July of this year. Henry will definitely be sorely missed, just such a kind and pleasant person. RIP Henry.

We just heard about Henry´s passing. My wife from Broadbrook enjoyed a take home pizza with her parents and siblings almost every week.
Her father lived the rolls and bread. I was introduced to Henry´s and we enjoyed every visit. Two pizzas and an antipasto salad were the norm. Not a New Haven thin crust, but "unique". Henry always watched as we sat and took our first bite.
He loved my thumbs up. Everyone was like family to him and his brother. There will never be another. We live in Florida now and often talk about our favorite Connecticut places to eat. Henry´s is always in the mix......."Take a bag of rolls home" was the mantra we will never forget.
So many were blessed to have Henry´s in there life.

Ah the memories! When I was a young boy my mom got pizza to go from Henry's. In my teens I began going to Henry's with my dad, and Henry and Vincent were so nice. In high school I brought friends, and I rarely went a month without having pizza and salad at Henry's. The closing of Henry's was like a death in our family, and now those feelings are trivial after the passing of a great man, and a great friend!

We have been customers for many years. Henry was always so nice & loved to make my husbands favorite Oreganato pizza. As soon as we walked in the door, Henry would start the pizza. We will miss his warm smile.
