Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. It has long been one of the great pleasures in my life to visit the Matishek family and catch up. And when I arrived in Glendale, whether it was 50 years ago or 5 months ago, everybody there made me and my family feel welcome, especially Uncle Larry. We were having a re-commital ceremony for Robert and Margaret Sanderson when we received the sad news, and we told stories about Uncle Larry and Aunt Julie, my mother's well-beloved sister and my godmother. My father died 35 years ago, but I still remember he and Larry talking and laughing long into the night. Michele, Harry and Nellie were saddened by the news and send their love.
