Henry Lee McFadden Jr., 54, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Little Blue Baptist Church, 7119 S. Noland Road, Kansas City, MO 64133.

Henry was born September 23, 1971, in Jackson County, MO. He was self-employed, working in home construction. Henry enjoyed working on cars and built three late '60s Cameros. He also enjoyed being at the drag strip and riding motorcycles. He was a good father figure and loved being around his family.

Henry is survived by three children: Breanna Sipek (Nic) of Holden, MO, Austin Cornelius of Kansas City, MO, and Ashley McFadden of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren: Owen, Jaxon, Alivia, and Daisy; bonus children: Joshua Holler, and Jade Sickman; three siblings: Charles McFadden, Helena Davis (Jeff), and Nina Hubbard; his father, Henry McFadden Sr. (Ginger) of Kansas; and his mother, Helen Corpening of Hollister, MO. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Sumner.
