With profound sorrow, we announce the passing Henry Albert Mitschele Senior 76, Henry's life was a tapestry woven with threads of courage, love, and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on Sept. 5 1947, Henry served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, demonstrating unwavering bravery and dedication. Earning recognition for his devotion to his fellow soldiers. He received the Medal of Valor for his disregard for his own safety and trying to protect his fellow men.
Upon his return, he embraced the role of devoted husband to Judith A. (Monticello) Mitschele until her passing in 1995.
As a loving father to his children. Judith and Henry Jr who later married Karen. In time he became a cherished grandfather to EmilyAlice and Henry III and his fiancé Brianna Wendling embracing her as a beloved member of their close-knit circle. Henry Sr. found immense joy and fulfillment in his family and his bond with them was the cornerstone of his life.
Henry's passion for automobiles was evident to all who knew him. He possessed a remarkable skill for working on cars and his meticulous attention to detail was admired by many. Whether tinkering under the hood or sharing his knowledge with others at car shows. Henry's expertise was matched only by his enthusiasm for the craft.
In addition to his love for cars, Henry had a whimsical side that delighted those around him. with his extensive movie collection of Disney Classics, as well as action and adventure films. An avid fan of the Harry Potter series, he loved sharing his passion with family and friends. Giving him a connection to all ages and infusing his life with a sense of wonder and adventure.
Henry's infectious laughter and playful spirit brought light to even the darkest of days. His quick wit and jovial nature endeared him to all who crossed his path, leaving a lasting impression that will be cherished forever.
Henry was a very skilled electrician in Local 52/164. Passing on his knowledge to his apprentices, many of whom became highly respected in the construction field. He is fondly remembered for his patience and humor by many of his union Brothers and Sisters.
Henry was predeceased by his wife, Judith Anne (Monticello) survived by his children, Henry (Hank) Jr. married to Karen (Lindberg) Mitschele. His two grandchildren, EmilyAlice Mitschele and Henry A. Mitschele III. His daughter, Judith Ann Mitschele. As well as his three sisters, Carol and Raymond (deceased)DeHope Honi and Al Stoehr and Susanne and Robert Paglia. He will be missed and forever loved by his cherished nieces and nephews. As well as a multitude of other family members and friends whose lives he touched profoundly.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Henry's spirit will continue to live on in the memories we hold dear.
The services in memorial of Henry A Mitschele Sr. Will be held at Ely funeral home in Neptune Wednesday May 29 from 2-4 & 730-930. Casual dress code is requested by the family in keeping with their father's wishes. Please feel free to talk, laugh and share stories of your memories with Hank Sr.
There will be no viewing just a display of photos and memorabilia for discussion and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to help with the funeral expenses held in Henry's honor.
