Dilma Jackson

Dilma Waleska Jackson (Dee) was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico on February 26, 1966, to Mrs. Alba N. Rivera and the late Arcadio Torres. As a young girl she was educated and graduated in 1984 from Central Regional High School in Berklee Twp. where she participated in both the Basketball and Softball teams. She began her employment as a CNA for 30 years with different facilities and ended her career with her main employer Amalgamated Local 298 as a business representative where she negotiated contracts for the business and her coworkers. Dee loved working as a private duty CNA where she was loved by all her patients and their families.

Dee started her spiritual growth at the Friendship Baptist Church in March of 2021. Dee enjoyed serving the Lord with the members and her husband Ronald E. Jackson whom she wedded in the year of 1995 on October 22 at the Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Authur Brown. Dee was known for her honesty, her generosity and her warm spirit. Dee was also known for remembering every little detail of a situation and a good ole shopping spree. If it's one thing Dee loved, it was her family. There was nothing she would not do to help any of them.

Dee is preceded in death by her father Arcadio Torres, her sisters Magda Lewis, Maida Wilson and Alba Dowtion.

She leaves to continue her legacy of love, her mother Alba N. Torres and her loving husband Ronald E. Jackson. Her children Dyron Stewart, Essence Stewart, Nalai Stewart, Kalai Stewart and Ronald Stewart. Her siblings Wanda Torres, Sandra Rivera, Silkia Blackshear and her only brother Arcadio Torres II. Her sister-in laws, Joyce Jackson and Samantha Jackson-Mohammed (Wali Mohammed). Her brothers-in-law are Virgil Dowtion & George Schroeder (Kia Schroeder). Dee loved and cherished all her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews and her best friends Rebecca Stokes and Twayla Torney who was always by her side during the rough times. Honorable loving friendship mentions are Gary & Tracey Cahn and Mark & Linda Gassman.

Friends and family are invited to for viewing and funeral services beginning at 11am on Saturday February 21, 2026, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 929 Mattison Avenue in Asbury Park. There will be no repast and no interment services.
