Gilbert Laureigh Obituary
Gilbert "Larry" Laureigh, 69, of Forked River, New Jersey, died on February 27, 2026.
He was born in Lakewood in 1956 to Gilbert and Margaret Laureigh. Larry attended Central Regional High School before working in the Plummer's Union Englishtown Local 9.
Larry is preceded in death by Gilbert Laureigh and Margaret Bromiley, and is survived by his step mother Joan Laureigh, brother Craig Laureigh (Lorraine), sister Linda Laureigh-Poor (Micheal), step sister Jennifer Johnson, son Dylan Laureigh, Nephew Kevin Laureigh (Ayunda), Nieces Amy and Erica Laureigh, and Torilyn Stafford (Robert), Great Nephew Koji, Great Nieces Mecca, Nora, and Hattie.
At the early age of 9, Larry started plumbing with his father and later became a master plumber. He enjoyed playing baseball and was a great left handed pitcher. Larry loved to be outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was always proud to get the biggest catch and always cooked what he caught.
Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
