Patrick Kevin Laureigh

Patrick Kevin Laureigh Sr. (Pat) of New Bern, NC, formerly of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., passed away on Friday January 30, 2026, in his home, surrounded by loved ones. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his first born and the apple of his eye, Courtney R. Laureigh, who passed away on August 17, 2020, and his father, Robert A. Laureigh, who passed away on April 25, 2004.

Pat was born on March 20, 1970 to Robert A. Laureigh and Antoinette M. Miller Laureigh Connolly. He lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family. He was known as a gentle giant and an all-around nice guy. Pat always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He was known as "Bubba" in his high school years. He graduated from Lacey Township High School in 1988, where he built lifelong friendships and developed a love for football. Pat proudly served as a member of the Lanoka Harbor Volunteer Fire Company and the New Jersey State Forest Fire Service.

He moved to New Bern NC in 2006. Throughout his career he worked for Fischer Brothers Sand Gravel, Sambol Construction, and for the past 20 years with Trader Construction in New Bern NC, serving as superintendent of mining operations at Nutrien in Aurora NC. He took great pride and joy in his work. Pat was often accused of being married to the job. While he loved his job, Pat was first and foremost a family man, whose love for his family was his guiding light.

Pat is survived by his wife Jessica, his sons Patrick, Jr. and Dylan; his stepchildren Christian, Donovan, Bryan, Destiny, and Anthony; his mother Antoinette (Toni); his siblings Robert S. and wife Wendy, Cheryl Corkum and husband Charles, Veronica and husband John, and Christopher and wife Tammy; and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends and his beloved dogs Max, Marley, Gracie, and Tucker.

Pat was known as a tough guy with a huge heart, and for his sarcasm and hilarious remarks. If he didn't give you a hard time then he didn't care for you. He was an incredible man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He truly was one of the good ones!

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Main Street (Route 9), Forked River, NJ 08731.
