Michael F. Muckelston Jr.

Michael Francis Muckelston, Jr., 35, of Bamber Lake, NJ passed away on May 31, 2024. Mike graduated from Lacey Township High School in 2007. He worked as a HVAC Technician in his father's business, MFM Building and Mechanical, along with other local businesses.
Mike was a true outdoorsman. He found peace in being one with nature. Always riding his mountain bike, woods cruising with his brother, collecting rocks and gems, sitting at the Bamber Lake taking in the sunsets and the beautiful surroundings of a small village and tight nit community he was proud to be part of. He had a huge sense of pride in where he lived, that is why he spent a lot of time and effort creating Camp Run A Muck to host large gatherings for everyone, especially all his family and friends to enjoy and come together. Mike was a holistic medicine activist, a spirit of nature, and a talented musician. He would play his guitar, sing, create inspiring artwork, cook meals that his grandmother taught him and simply love to enjoy life with his children.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Joan and Charles Muckelston; Dennis Laureigh; Judy and Arthur Smith. Surviving are his mother and father, Camille and Michael Muckelston Sr., brother Matt, children Willow, Cedar and Luna Muckelston; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends that are considered family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 pm at the Bamber Lake with the intention of watching the sunset and taking in the surrounding as Mike would. Please bring your own chair. Cremation was private.
