Henry Bernard Paslick III

Henry Bernard "Barney" Paslick III, of London, Kentucky was born on July 4, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Henry Bernard Paslick Jr. and Gertrude White Paslick. He was united in marriage to Alice Marie DeVries Paslick who preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Heather Paslick of Knoxville, Tennessee; a step-daughter, Jodi Schwartz and husband Travis of New York; three siblings, Leah Paslick, Nick Paslick both of Baltimore, Maryland and Maury Paslick and wife Maria of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Judah Paslick, Willow Paslick, Gabriel Schwartz, Sydney Schwartz, Thorin Schwartz and Julius Schwartz; as well as his loving nieces, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Barney retired as the Chief Information Officer for Laurel County Schools. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Henry Bernard "Barney" Paslick III departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 20 days of age.

The memorial service for Barney Paslick will be conducted at 6 pm Wednesday, October 8 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Burn officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 4 pm Wednesday October 8 until the service hour of 6 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
