Henry James Recke, Jr., 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the Barron Center in Portland Maine. He was born December 7, 1955 in Rocky Hill, NJ and was a resident of Old Orchard Beach, ME for over 45 years.

Predeceased by his parents: Henry J. Recke, Sr. and Josephine Sloan Recke; sisters: Gloria J. O'Beirne, Elizabeth A. Pirone, and Marie K. Krystaponis; brothers-in-law: Anthony J. Krystaponis, Jr. and John Pirone; he is survived by his sisters: Linda A. Luther, Etta Recke and MaryJo Bell; brothers-in-law: Joseph A. Luther, Orville Bell and Kevin O'Beirne; many special nieces, nephews and cousins; and good friends in OOB including Leeanne La Riviere.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. Paul's Church, 216 Nassau St., Princeton, NJ 08542. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Henry's honor to the Barron Center, 1145 Brighton Avenue, Portland ME 04102.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
