Henry G. Theisen Jr.

Henry G. Theisen Jr., age 76 of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on February 10, 2022 at home. Born, raised and educated in New York, NY, Henry resided for the past 18 years in Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Langhorne, PA. Henry was a retired police officer serving with the New York City Police Department for 15 years before retiring in 1978. After retirement Henry became an entrepreneur owning several businesses. In his spare time he enjoyed working on puzzles, reading, baking and fishing. Henry was a LCPL serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, Henry G. Sr. and Isabella Bremner Theisen, Henry is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jillian and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louise Theisen, 3 children, Henry G. Theisen III, Karin Theisen McClung and Steven (Pam) Theisen, 3 sisters, Virginia Murtaugh, Dorthea Miller and Carol Maguire, 8 grandchildren, Caitlin (Justin) Nicke, Nicholas, Julia, Evan, Steven, Ryan, Samantha Theisen and Mason McClung, 2 great grandchildren, Justin and Madelynn Nicke.
