Henry Michael 'Mike' Weiss

June 28th, 1940- October 17th, 2024
Henry Michael 'Mike' Weiss, age 84, of East Canton, went to be with the Lord after a brief illness. Mike was born in Canton Ohio. He graduated from Louisville High School. He retired from United Engineering with over 30 years of service. Mike was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman all his life. He loved hunting and fishing, and just walking in the woods. He also enjoyed his grandchildren, especially when taking them to the gun range.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Augusta Simpson of Louisville and his loving wife of 52 years, Alyce Jean (Cunin). He is survived by his four children; Daniel (Kimberly) Weiss, Michael (Connie) Weiss, Jennifer (Don) Proudfoot, and Melissa Weiss; eight grandchildren, Nicole Everetts, Brandon Proudfoot, Emily (Andy) Weiss, Kaitlyn McWhorter, Sydney Weiss, Danny Weiss, Tristan Proudfoot, and Ryan McWhorter; 2 great grandchildren, Benjamin Proudfoot and Thomas Clark. As well as many longtime friends.
Calling hours will be held 5 pm -7 pm, Monday October 21st, at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Tuesday October 22nd at 11 am at the St Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Maximo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Sportsman's Club in East Canton, the American Legion Post 548 in Louisville, or the Veteran's Service Commission of Stark County. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Henry, please visit our Tree Store.
