Henry White Obituary

Henry White was born on November 25, 1957 to the late Willie McNeil White and Lillie Mae Dukes - White. He was reared on Christian principles. Henry continued to live according to those principles and the teachings of Bethany Seventh-Day Adventist church throughout his life.

Henry enjoyed playing sports during his early years and watching sports during his aging years. He was well known for taking long walks as well as speed walking. Henry had a sharp memory with detailed recall for life events. He enjoyed telling jokes and sharing fun facts with family and friends.

Henry was an active member of the New Horizon Community Wellness Center in Vineland NJ until health issues prevented his participation. Over the years Henry served on several New Jersey Collaborative Support committees. He always greeted people with an infectious warm smile and purposed to make people around him feel valued. Henry left a legacy of generosity and gratitude.

Henry leaves to cherished his memories: Three sisters, Julia Williams of Millville NJ, Alice Murphy of Cedarville NJ, Williemae Scafe of Bridgeton NJ; Two brothers, Andrew White (Vivan) of Delaware, Willie White (Pamela) of Bridgeton NJ; sister in – law, Corinth Wilson of Bridgeton NJ; one brother in - law, Gary Adams of Bridgeton NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Willie McNeil White and Lillie Mae Dukes – White; three brothers, Roosevelt White, Ernest White and John L. White; and one sister, Ruby White - Adams.
