He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Mary O'Quinn Bearden; daughter, Denise Bearden Rule (Andrew) of Commerce, GA. step-daughters, Georgeann Clark (Johnny) of Florence, MS, Rebecca Bradley (Eddie) of Florence, MS and Polly Stankus (Adolf) of Dayton, NV. Grandchildren Carlie Rule, Thomas Bearden, Joey Clark, Jimmy Clark (Laura) and Stephanie Dale (Nathan), Dakota Bradley, Adolfas Stankus, and Suzanna Stankute. Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.
Dean loved his family. Never meeting a stranger, he enjoyed making people laugh. He was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan and worked briefly for Mississippi Braves after retirement. He was a lifetime Georgia Bulldog fan.
Memorial service was held at his home on August 16, 2025. Officiated by Reverend Danny Dickerson of Leaf River Baptist Church in Pineville, MS.
