Herbert Wayne "Herb" Carlson

Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss.
Marion was a shipmate and good friend of Herb and Mauveen. We didn't get a Christmas card or call from Herbie for a couple of years and had tried unsuccessful to find them. They used to visit us in Alabama - joining us and other shipmates at our lake house for a week of fun and stories. Of the 4 - W. T. Hoskins, Jim Ryan, Marion Williams and Herb Carlson- Marion is the only one still living. He had a severe stroke July 14, 2021, and hasn't been out of hospital bed since. This is his wife, Shirley.
We miss talking to and visiting with Herb. Miss his stories, his laughter and his poetry. We will always cherish his friendship.
