Herbert Chaffin Obituary
Herbert was the son of Hoover Chaffin and Edna Rozelle Moss Chaffin. He was a member of Freewill Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia "Cissy" Chaffin; step mother, Ann Chaffin, mother in law, Willie Stacy and niece, Cheryl Hensley.
Survived by: daughters, Holly (Trent) Snider of Baxter TN, Tiffney Stacy of Gainesboro TN; grandchildren Bailey Meadows of Baxter TN, Dillon Meadows of Baxter TN, Kayla Meadows of Gainesboro TN, Kira Meadows of Gainesboro TN, Chelsea Stacy of Gainesboro TN, Trey Snider of Baxter TN, Keira Snider of Baxter TN, Aiden Snider of Baxter TN; great grandchildren Raelynn and Aspen of TN, sisters, Helen (Danny) Hensley of Gainesboro TN; Lisa (Tim) Hatcher of Baxter TN, Cheryl Chaffin of Baxter TN, Tammy (Marty) Hinson of Hilham TN, Kathy Ballard of Gainesboro TN, Joy Dobbs of Baxter TN, Barbara (Billy) Hensley of Gainesboro TN and Carlene (Danny) Rodgers of Baxter TN.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Mansell Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
