Herbert Reynold Eddings

Herbert "Ed" Reynold Eddings, age 85, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1940, in Buffalo, New York, to Kenneth Eddings and Esther Norris-Eddings.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darrell Eddings.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Martin-Eddings; his two sons, Kenneth John Eddings and Jeffrey Allan (Suzanne) Eddings; his cherished grandchildren, Christian, Ashley (Danielle), Tyler (Ana), Keneddi (David), and Lena; and his great-grandchildren, Lucy, Leo, and Ellis, as well as one sister in law Carol Eddings.
Ed proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years. Following his service, he earned an associate degree and went on to work as a mechanic, specializing in valves for industrial machinery. He and his family lived in Niagara Falls, New York, before retiring and relocating to Hot Springs in November of 2001.
In his free time, Ed found joy in fishing on Lake Hamilton, deer hunting, meticulously mowing his lawn, and tending to his coin collection. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, caring brother, and loyal friend whose quiet dedication and steady presence touched the lives of many.
