Herbert Griffin Obituary
Frank was born in Valley Center, VA on October 25, 1953,a son of the Raymond Franklin and Charlotte Mae Turner Griffin.
Survivors include his wife of more than 31 years, Barbara Jean Torma Griffin; three children, Chris Griffin of Lumberport, WV, Nate McManis and wife Elizabeth of Charlotte, NC, and Mandy Driscole and husband Jim of Frederick, MD; grandchildren Brandon, Nathan, Graeme, Gracie, Noah, Hannah, and Paige; his sister Anna Lowery and husband Joe of Lindhurst, VA; and a sister-in-law Joyce Griffin of Lindhurst, VA.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a brother Harold Griffin.
Frank was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and was fond of the group of RV enthusiasts that he and his wife traveled with. He was a West Virginia University Mountaineer fan, also clay shooting, and enjoyed deep sea fishing.
A celebration of Frank's life will be held at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave. Westover, on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

I didnt know Herbert personally but I do know his sister Anna and just by knowing her I know he had to be a special brother! I want to let Anna and her family know they are in my prayers and pray their memories can get them thru with Gods help in this difficult time! Love you Anna, my friend. Pat
