Herbert Neal Hall

Herbert Neal "Herb" Hall, 78, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 10 2024. Born on November 12, 1945, in Williams, Indiana, he was the son of Herbert A. and Mary (Short) Hall.

Herb dedicated a significant portion of his career to AT&T before enjoying his well-deserved retirement. He was a man who enjoyed nature, often spending time hunting and camping. His enthusiasm extended beyond the outdoors; he was an avid wrestling fan and a gun enthusiast. He enjoyed cooking, picking on his guitar, and watching classic western movies.

He is survived by his sons, Eric Hall (Sandra Gillenwater) and Stephen Hall (Krisa); his grandchildren, Adrian Hall, Katelyn Hall, Meghan Pok (Aaron), Alyssa Kelly, Bradley Kelly, Taner Farmer, and Justin Arrwood; and great-grandchildren, Oveya Joyce Foster, Olivia Williams, and PJ Williams.

Along with his parents, Herb was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pauletta Hall, and his sister, Nodra Collier.

A reception for family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Additionally, there will be a gathering on Saturday, starting after 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Herb will be laid to rest privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
