Herbert E Jordan, age 66 of Marion, OH passed away October 4, 2025, at his home. He was born October 26, 1958, to the late Woodrow Jordan and Mary (Reinwald) Cripple Jordan in Marion. Herbert married Linda (Keirns) Jordan December 1, 2012, who survives in Marion.
Herbert is survived by his wife, children: Herbert (Sarah Andrews) Jordan of Marion and Brandy (Robert) Ohman of Washington, step children: Penny Freeman, Chuck (Jennifer) Daniel, Jimmy Milliron, and Nikki (David) Miller, grandchildren: Aaliyah, Noah, Lincoln, Roman, Evee, Preston, Jaxson, Emma, RJ, and Julian, several step grandchildren, brothers: Woodie (Sandy) Jordan and Bob (Sandy) Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Herbert was a 1976 graduate of Marion Harding High School, worked as a welder at Union Tank Car in Marion, was a charter member of Espyville Community Baptist Church, then in 1998, became Pastor there. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Herbert was a little ornery, but dedicated his life to his family.
There will be calling hours Tuesday October 7, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Espyville Community Baptist Church, 805 Espyville Rd. N, Marion, OH 43302. Funeral service will be Wednesday October 8, 2025, at 11 am at the church, followed by interment at Chapel Heights Cemetery, 2622 Marion-Upper Sandusky Rd. Marion, OH 43302. Pastor Randy Nichols officiating.
