Herbert Lee Perryman Obituary
Mr. Herbert Lee Perryman, age 86, of Shelbyville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 in McMinnville, TN. Mr. Herbert was born in Bedford County, TN to the late Ed Lee Perryman and Aline Sanders Perryman. He was retired from Southern Marine Company where he worked as a crane operator on a barge. Mr. Perryman was a member of Edgemont Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Perryman, and a daughter, Andrea Keown.
Mr. Herbert loved ball games, especially baseball. He was a true fan for the Atlanta Braves. He had a passion for listening to country music. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them and supporting them with their activities.
Mr. Perryman is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Sue Perryman of Shelbyville, TN; 3 daughters, Betty Bell of McMinnville, TN, Janet DeLzoier of McMinnville, TN, Tonuia Smith of McMinnville, TN; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Curtis and Debbie Perryman.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10 AM – 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Bedford County, TN.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
