Herbert F. Maske

Herbert Frank Maske was born to Frank August Maske and Bertha "Erma" Jean Maske (Burck) on March 30, 1944 in Hudson, WI. Herb passed away on April 6, 2025 after a long battle with dementia.
An avid angler, hunter, music lover, stamp collector and online auction go-er, he certainly loved his partner, Linda Maske. They married in 1969, divorced, and found their way back to each other in 1996. Linda provided excellent care for Herb in the years prior to moving him into memory care, for which we are thankful.
As the youngest daughter writing this, I may not have known him the longest, but I know he LOVED and was so PROUD of his children and grandchildren. Always supporting and attending numerous sporting events throughout their childhoods.
Herb is preceded in death by his brother Robert Maske and sister Maryann Effertz. He is survived by his partner, Linda Maske. Children: Jim Minelli, Michelle, Greg, and Bryan Maske, Dawn, Adam and Cynthia Caughey. Niece: Dana Hausladen. Grandchildren: Michael Alt(Molly), Drew Maske(Bridget), Sean Miessner.
Plans are a Celebration of Life picnic at the North Picnic Shelter (Thompson Park 360 Butler Ave E, West St Paul, MN 55118) on Friday, May 2nd from 12pm till 4pm. Burial will be prior, at 11am for immediate family, at Oakland Cemetery in Saint Paul, where his mother and father are buried.
