Holly Joy Vogen, age 50, passed away February 11, 2026, surrounded by her family after a courageous journey through illness.
Born November 10, 1975, in
Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Holly spent her childhood years in Grand Forks, North Dakota, before later living in Burnsville, Minnesota where she would meet her husband, Jason. Raised by her parents, Sandy and Verdell, she was given a foundation of love, strength, and generosity that shaped the remarkable woman she became. She shared a deep and meaningful bond with her sister Angie, whose presence and closeness were an important part of her life. Holly lived a life defined by love, faith, humor, and deep connection with those around her. She was known for her generous heart, quick wit, and unwavering spiritual strength. Her relationship with God and Jesus was central to who she was, guiding how she loved and supported others throughout her life. She shared her home and affection freely with her family, including their beloved dog Kiwi, who brought her much joy.
Holly shared a devoted marriage of nearly three decades with Jason. Together they built a life rooted in partnership, perseverance, and dedication to their family. She was a loving and proud mother to their sons, Troy and Ian, who were among her greatest joys.
She found happiness in music of all kinds-tropical, spiritual, relaxing, and dance-worthy; and loved traveling, cooking, painting, concerts, margaritas, dancing, and simply finding ways to have fun. Dolphins were her favorite, symbolizing her playful and peaceful spirit. Whether spending time with her boys or creating memories with loved ones, Holly lived fully and intentionally.
Professionally, Holly worked alongside Jason as a true partner in business, managing accounting, marketing, human resources, and daily operations. Her dedication, organization, and behind-the-scenes leadership were instrumental to their shared endeavors.
Holly is survived by her loving husband Jason; her sons Troy and Ian; her parents Sandy and Verdell Olson; her sister Angie Turlington and brother-in-law Jeff Turlington; Jason's sister Melissa Conlin and brother-in-law Pete Conlin and close friends Renee Hazelbaker and Jean Marie Klingl, along with extended family and many whose lives she touched.
