Herbert "Herb" Mosher

Herbert Mosher, 70, Minot, ND, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in his home.
Herb was born September 29, 1955, the son of Maynard and Charlotte (Bookamire) Mosher, in Minot. He was raised and educated in New Jersey until his sophomore year in high school.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1972. He was honorably discharged 1976.
He was once married to Patricia Dodson and they were blessed with two children, Samuel and Julia. Herb was later blessed with another daughter, Tandy.
Herb met Jolene at the post office in Willow City. They were married on September 3, 1982. They made their home in Tioga where they were blessed with four children who were born sleeping, including Abraham Zachariah. While in Tioga, Herb was the head janitor for Tioga Public Schools.
Herb and Jolene moved to Minot in December 1989. They purchased their home and started from scratch. Together they filled their whom with love and happiness.
Herb's faith was incredibly important to him. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church. He was a people person who loved to share the Gospel with others. He knew the Bible well and was never ashamed to share the love of Christ with everyone he encountered.
When Herb wasn't "fishing for people" he was at the lake ready to real in the biggest fish he could. He had a passion for fishing.
His loving family includes: wife of 43 years, Jolene; children, Samuel, Julia, and Tandy; grandchildren (Julia) Celica Catherine, Demitrichka Patric, Peter Veselinov, Declan Wyatt; brothers, Robert (Jane) Mosher, David (Julie) Mosher; sisters, Carol Arneson, Linda (Jim) Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Martin Mosher, Maynard Mosher.
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Calvary Chapel, Minot.
