Herbert Tays Obituary
Gene is survived and loved by his three sons, Chris Tays (Jill), Benjy Tays (Ginger) all of Corinth, MS, and Jason Tays of Chattanooga, TN; two daughters, Deanna Maloney (Eric) of Tupelo, MS, and Kim Yates of Booneville, MS; and sister, Katherine Tays Greer of Cordova, TN.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nita Sharp Tays; his parents; three brothers, Bennie Eugene Tays, Marion Alexander Tays, and William Edward Tays; and two sisters, Anne Tays Lindsey and Virginia Tays Griffin.
A private service will be held. Gene will be laid to rest in the Booneville Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Prentiss County Baptist Association Food Pantry, P.O. Box 42, Booneville, MS 38829.
