Mr. Gamez was born in Michoacan, Mexico on October 22, 1963 to Leobijildo Gamez and Catalina Gutierrez and later made Fellsmere, Florida his cherished home.
Heriberto was a devoted Catholic , and a man of immense faith. He enjoyed working on his yard, traveling to his hometown La Yerbabuena, listening to music, fixing cars and found his greatest joy in spoiling his beloved nietas y nietos. He treasured every moment spent with his family, including his siblings and extended family. Heriberto was proudly married to the love of his life for 38 wonderful years.
Survivors include her wife, Lina Gamez of Fellsmere FL, son, Heriberto Gamez of Fellsmere, FL; daughter, Catalina Miranda of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Jessica Zamarripa of Fellsmere, FL; and daughter, Briceli Gamez of Fellsmere, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Harley Gamez, King Gamez, Isabella S. Gamez, Maximilliano Zamarripa, Damian Zamarripa, Camila Zamarripa, Jaybian Miranda and Lisandro Miranda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leobijildo Gamez and Catalina Gutierrez.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday , November 5th at 5:30 PM at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 N Central Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958 . Thursday, November 6th a Mass will be held at 12 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, 12896 County Road 512, Fellsmere, FL 32948. Burial will proceed at Sebastian Municipal Cemetery, 1921 N. Central Avenue, Sebastian, FL 32958.
