RUTH KUCHARSKI

Ruth Kucharski, 69, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away surrounded by love. Born on October 9, 1956, in Greenwich, Connecticut, Ruth was the daughter of the late Monica O'Donnell and John Kucharski.

Ruth grew up in Port Chester, NY, where she graduated from Port Chester High School. She built a long and respected career as an Executive Assistant, first at Paloma Partners and then at JPMorgan Chase & Co.. Ruth brought the same dedication and warmth to her work that she did to every part of her life.

In 2017, Ruth and her beloved husband, Frank, moved to Sebastian, where she cared for him with boundless love and devotion until his passing in 2018. Even through loss, Ruth's strength and kindness never wavered. In her new community, she found purpose and friendship volunteering with the VNA, attending St. Sebastian Catholic Church, and serving proudly with the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Ruth was thoughtful and endlessly caring. She was quick to laugh, sent cards for every occasion, and had the most beautiful handwriting you've ever seen. She loved music and the arts, baking, good conversation, and traveling.

She was also a devoted cat mom to her two beloved companions, Romeo and Juliet, who were never far from her side.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her brother, Robert Kucharski; and her sister, Sybil (Kucharski) Ulicky.

She is survived by her sister, Monica Kucharski; her niece, Sarah Moscicki; her nephews, John Ulicky and Robert Kucharski; and her dear sisters-in-law, Susan Lorusso and Marylynn Taracka.

Ruth's love extended through generations to all her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and the children of the families she held so close. She delighted in watching them grow and took great pride in being part of their lives.

A memorial service will be held at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian on Wednesday, November 5th, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., followed by a gathering at her home.

Ruth will be remembered for her laughter, her thoughtfulness, her strength, her joy, and the love she shared so freely with everyone lucky enough to know her.
