Mary Ann Fox (née Flipse), 89, passed away quietly in her sleep Wednesday, November 5th, at her home in Sebastian, Florida after a short illness.

She was born in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, to Robert and Harriet (Lensink) Flipse on December 27th, 1935, the eldest of four children and their only daughter.

Mary Ann enjoyed cooking and baking. She was an active member of the Sebastian Elks BPOE, serving as President of the Eldoe's and holding many other offices within the Lodge, organizing charitable and social outreach events. Her favorite pastime was working Bingo at the Elks Lodge every Wednesday where she met many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Harriet Flipse, father and mother-in-law, John and Bertha Fox, brothers Glenn and Robert Flipse, husband of 48 years James Fox, and special friend, Gerald Oltman.

Mary is survived by her youngest brother, Jim Flipse, of Sheboygan; sister-in-law, Joan Flipse, of Oostburg; daughters, LuAnn (Steve) Borsse, of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin; Julie (Daniel) Jensema, of West Bend, Wisconsin; and Patti Jo Fox and Gordon Gazeley from The Villages, Florida. Other family members include grandchildren, Eric Jensema of Madison, Wisconsin; Jamie (Ben) Frazer of Slinger, Wisconsin; Jesse (Jeni) Jensema of West Bend, Wisconsin; Shane Dulmes (Candice) of Avon Park, Florida; and Natalie Wright of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mary also had four great grandchildren: Alex Frazer of Richfield, Wisconsin; Ian Frazer of Slinger, Wisconsin; Emily Frazer of Yuma, Arizona; and Callie Dulmes of Avon Park, Florida and has another grandson due in January 2026.

Mary's family would like to thank neighbors Chuck and Dori Schiele, and all of her friends at the Sebastian Elks for watching out for her.

A memorial service may be held at the Elks at a future date. Final internment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, where Mary will be placed to rest with her husband, Jim.
