He is survived by his son- Herman "Jack" Waldo and his wife Amanda of Grandview, TN, daughters- Karen Wasik of Cookeville, TN and Mary J. Smith of Grandview, TN, brother- Hyle Waldo and his wife Judy of Crossville, TN, sisters- Ellen Phipps of Dayton, TN, Esther Hutchinson (Fred) of Cookeville, TN, Pat Tuttle (Esco) of Grandview, TN and Gladys Phipps (Paul) of Grandview, TN, grandchildren- Bailee Waldo, Kayla Waldo (Thomas), Keshia Sanders (Adam), Jacqueline Hargis (Jeff) and greatgrandchildren- Bodhi Hargis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Waldo, brothers- Bud Waldo, and Leonard Waldo and sister- Aileen Kilby.
Funeral service will be held Monday March 30, 2026 at 2pm EST at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 29, 2026 from 7pm-9pm EST at the funeral home. Burial will be in Herman Waldo Family Cemetery.
