Hernando was a man whose kindness, generosity, and selflessness touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a true giver, always putting others before himself, and he lived his life with the heart of a servant. He was a devoted caregiver and dedicated himself to caring for his beloved 102-year-old mother, showing patience, love, and unwavering devotion in every moment they shared. His kindness knew no bounds, and his presence brought comfort and warmth to all who crossed his path. Beyond his compassion, Hernando was a gifted craftsman, blessed with hands that could build, create, and repair anything. Whether it was fixing something broken or crafting something beautiful, he poured his skill and heart into everything he touched. His work was a reflection of his character, strong, dependable, and made with love. Hernando was not only a master craftsman but also a gifted cook, creating delicious meals with the same care and skill he put into everything he did. His kitchen was a place of warmth, flavor, and love. He took great pride in his Colombian heritage, embracing the vibrant music, rich traditions, and deep love for his country that shaped his joyful spirit and generous heart. Hernando's legacy is one of love, service, and generosity. His impact on those around him will never be forgotten, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is the son of Esther Ramirez de Garcia and the late Manuel Ramirez Portugues of Bogota, Colombia.
