Mr. Lloyd Hershal Wolcott, affectionately known as Hershal, age 73, a lifelong resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in CHI St Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Hershal was born to Floyd Herman and Maxine Lilliebell Lambeth Wolcott on February 12, 1952, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a carpenter by trade, and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sewing, and loved to go to the Ranch House Café to visit and drink his coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna Mae Williams Wolcott, and two sisters, Margie Davis and Lavonne Hagood.

Hershal leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Lloyd Wolcott of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Michael Wolcott of Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers, Leonard and his wife Cathy Wolcott of North Pole, Alaska, and Wayne Wolcott of Keene, Texas; two sisters, Wanda Faye Blackwell of Grandview, Texas, and Gail Davis of Keene, Texas; a special niece, Rhonda Whitmore of Horatio, Arkansas; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Hershal Wolcott will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Conatser officiating. Private burial will follow at Beacon Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
