Hershel's Obituaries
Hershel Edward Ooley, 62, of Stinnett, Texas passed away on April 15, 2020 in Stinnett. A private family graveside service, officiated by Rev. Mark Murray will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Lieb Cemetery in Hutchinson County, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman, Texas.
Mr. Ooley was born on November 25, 1957 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to James Franklin Ooley and Donna Mae Oliver Ooley. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. Vocationally, he was a pumper for EPM Lease Services. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; he loved his animals, and he loved God and his country.
He is survived by his father, James Ooley; his son, Joshua Ooley of Kansas; his daughter, Lori Ooley of Santa Barbara, California; two sisters, Kayren Harbour of Stinnett, Texas, and Cheryl Pernice of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Robert Ooley of Santa Barbara, California; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ooley was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Ooley.
The family requests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 S. Roland, Spearman, Texas, 79081; or to one’s favorite charity.
