Herve O. Thivierge

Hervé O. Thivierge, 87, of Lynn, MA, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Born on the family farm in Saint-Sylvestre, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Dorvenie and Marie-Jeanne (Blais) Thivierge and beloved husband of Hélène A. (Bédard) Thivierge.

Hervé and Hélène married in 1963 and immigrated shortly thereafter to the United States to start a life and family together. They proudly became American citizens in 2010.

He worked as a master plumber for over 50 years.

Hervé had a lifelong love of music, playing many instruments. He jumped at the opportunity to play his guitar at family gatherings. He was an avid gardener taking pride in growing tomatoes, cucumbers, and different varieties of flowers and plants. He found great joy spending time in the woods of his maple sugar plantation in Saint-Jacques-de-Leeds, Quebec, Canada, and especially enjoyed driving his late father's 1945 Ford tractor around the plantation.

His Thivierge brothers and sisters: The late Annette (the late Paul Provencher), the late Sister Yvette, the late Sister Angéline, Sister Rose-Hélène, Aurore (the late Roger Houde), Madeleine (Denys Pelletier), the late Fernande (the late Philippe Bourgault), Loretta (the late Bertrand Marcoux), the late Bertrand, the late Michel (Gérard Sirois)

His Bédard brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: The late Polycarpe (Louisette Bédard), the late Eddie (Henriette Nadeau), the late Bertha (the late Raymond Berthiaume), Noëlla (the late Henri-George Mercier), the late Cécile (Louis Bédard), Lionel (Monique Poirier), the late Paul-André (Louise Laflamme), Raymond (the late Germaine Thivierge) and the late Roger (Carmen Nappert).

He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Sainte-Agathe-de-Lotbinière, Quebec, Canada.
