H.F. "Jack" Jackson

H. F. "Jack" Jackson, age 94, of Avon Lake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born February 21, 1931 in Newburyport, Massachusetts to parents Herman and Rose Marie (nee Peters) Jackson.

Jack proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a 1st Sergeant. He was Director of Operations at Sherman Williams and retired after 35 years of dedicated work. Jack was an avid reader, had an extensive stamp collection he began curating at age 17, and enjoyed woodworking projects within his home. He was an accomplished artist of oil and acrylic paintings; and Jack enjoyed 35 years of ballroom dancing with his wife Sally.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Sally Jackson; two daughters Cynthia Berner (Joseph) and Julie Addis (Mark); five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
