David L. Jackson

David L. Jackson, 65, of Summit, MS., passed away on February 10, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation is Sunday February 15, 2026 from 2 PM until a Memorial Service at 4 PM at Pisgah United Methodist Church. Rev. Ricky Lee will officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is handling all arrangements.

David was born in McComb, MS., on August 26, 1960. He is the son of Lamar Thomas and Betty Katheryn Johnston Jackson.

David was a carpenter and of the Methodist faith. He was a wonderful and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid outdoorsmen in that he loved to hunt and fish. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him.

He is preceded by his father.

He is survived by mother, his wife of thirty eight happy years, Tambra Watts Jackson, three sons, Jeremy D. Jackson (Ashley R. ), Derek L. Mason and Raymond G. Mason, one brother, Greg Jackson, two sisters, Sonya Forte (Danny) and Angie Jackson Mitcham (Jody), six grandchildren Raini Jackson, Stormi Jackson, Charlee Mason, Urijah Mason, Abby Mason and Dustin Mason with numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
